Sasan Soflaei

Sasan Soflaei, born in 1987, is a professional drummer from Iran with over 23 years of playing experience and 15 years of teaching. Known for his versatile style and deep musical sensitivity, he has collaborated with numerous bands and artists across genres such as rock, blues, and pop – including Kahtmayan, Road 77, Aldoush Alpanian, and various pop groups.

His performances, both live and in the studio, are marked by energy, precision, and creativity. Alongside his performance career, Sasan is a dedicated educator. He has taught at MMS (Modern Music School) in Tehran and currently runs his own music academy, NIRVANA, where he mentors the next generation of drummers and musicians. Through private lessons, workshops, and online content, he actively contributes to the growth of Iran’s drumming community.
