Born in 1985,
Işık Sarıhan started to play hand percussion and drums in his teenage years. In
1999 founded Hayvanlar Alemi with his school friends, an experimental band that
blends together various contemporary and traditional styles from around the
world into psychedelic rock, and which has released on labels 003 Records,
Sublime Frequencies, Unrock, Glitterbeat and Pakapi. Işık also runs the digital
record label Inverted Spectrum Records.
