Ever since he was a child the drums were the instrument which fascinated

and inspired Marc Bollow the most. At the age of eight he got his first

drumset. But already before, he played on everthing he could find. At the age

of twelve Marc Bollow got his first drum-lessons.

It quickly became clear that the instrument and the passion for music should

be also his profession. He followed this wish without any compromise. He

took lessons with well-known teachers and at music schools and started his

studies at the european branch oft he „Drummers Collective“ in Hagenau at

France. In 2015 Marc Bollow patricipated at a three-week training at the

„Drummers Collective“ in New York. Furthermore he took private lessons with

Dave Weckl, Bernhard Purdie, John Riley, Aaron Comess, Chris Coleman,

Pat Petrillo, Chester Thompson, Kim Plainfield and Vince Cherico.

Since 15 years Marc Bollow works as a drum-teacher. He’s also the muscial

director oft he „Musikschule Saar“ at Saarbrücken and he is the owner of his

„Drumschool Marc Bollow“. He also offers workshops like a three-week

workshop at the „Club Aldiana (Fuerteventura) or at different schools.

Thereby he can look back on live- and studio-experience in different bands.

The spectrum extends from Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk’n’Soul, Latin to Metal.

Followed by worldwide CD-releases like on Soulfood Records and World

Music.

He also played concerts as supporting act for well-known acts like Letzte

Instanz, Sodom, Hatebreed, Dudley Taft, Klaus „Major“ Häuser and many

more.
