At the age of 62 years old, the drummer Rolando Castello Junior has over four decades dedicated to music, or rather to Rock’nRoll.

Rolando was influenced by the greats of the Rock´n´Roll on the 70`s years, like Ringo Star, Charlie Watts, Keith Moon,Carmine Appice, Jonh Bonhan, Mitch Mitcheland Ginger Baker.

Rolando, who owns an unbeatable technique on the instrument, has an unmistakable and unique way of playing, fruits of his geniality. Rolando is an authentic character of Brazilian rock and one of the most respected musicians of Brazil.
Professional since 1970, he played with countless musicians in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico (country where he lived) and was part of classic bands like, Made in Brazil and the Patrulha do Espaço, a group formed in 1977 for Arnaldo Baptista. Rolando is currently the only original member and central figure in the continuity of the band Patrulha do Espaço, the first rock band in Brazil to record and edit independently albums.

Elected in 2012 by an Argentine magazine as “The Biggest World Drummer”, Rolando is compared to the great drummers of  the Rock World.

Currently his agenda is around shows and marketing of this latest work with Patrulha do Espaço band, “Capturados ao Vivo em Buenos Aires – 2014”.
