Emre Uyar was born in December 1984 and started playing the drums when he was only 12 years old. He soon joined the school orchestra during his middle school years. He received various awards with the pieces he wrote during his high school years and started to perform on various stages. He took lessons from many drummers in Turkey and abroad. In 2010, he was accepted to the Yıldız Technical University drum department. He continued his lessons with Şenol Küçükyıldırım and graduated with a successful degree. Again in 2010, he shared the same stage with projects such as Metallica, Alice in Chains, Rammstein at the Sonisphere festival held at the İnönü Stadium as it was called at the time, playing with Ete Kurttekin, who was Özlem Tekin’s bass guitarist. Again in the same period, he continued his career by taking part in Benden Adam Çıkr (I Will Not Be a Man in Benden Adam) in the soundtrack of the Av Mevsimi movie by Director Yavuz Turgul. Immediately afterwards, he was accepted to the Istanbul Technical University (MIAM) percussion department for a master’s degree and continued his academic studies. He continued his stage work actively with names such as Afro Beat Project Deli Bakkal, Özge Fışkın, Emir Yargın, Su Sonia. Apart from these, he has released two singles so far, Groggy Punch and Twisted Soul. Emre Uyar continues his music work as a solo artist and spends time in his studio to release new songs.
