Adım Nihat Özyürekliler. Bir ada ülkesi olan Kıbrıs’ta doğdum ve ilköğrenimimi Levent Primary School’da tamamladım. 7 yaşındayken, ailem bana doğum günü hediyesi olarak ne istediğimi sorduğunda, bateri cevabını vermiştim. Ardından bateri dersleri almak için Yamaha Music School’a başladım. O dönemde, hem müzik okulu hem de ilkokulda bateri çalıyordum. Liseye başladığımda artık bateri çalmayı bir meslek haline döndürmeye karar verdim ve odama bir bateri kurup ünlü şarkıların “cover”larını yapmaya ve YouTube kanalımda (kendi adıma ait) yayınlamaya başladım. Bir keresinde özel bir etkinlikte, ünlü Türk rock grubu ve 2010 Eurovision 2.si Manga ile sahneye çıktım ve bir şarkılık performans sergiledim. Aynı dönemde odama küçük bir stüdyo kurmaya ve “cover”larımı daha da profesyonelleştirmeye karar verdim. Yaz tatillerimde ise değişik gruplarla çeşitli festivallerde sahne aldım. Bu deneyim bana ünlü Kıbrıslıtürk sanatçılarla tanışma olanağı sağladı. Şu anda, ArTem adlı bir rock grubunun üyesiyim. Onlarla bir adet şarkım bulunmakta. Aynı zamanda, Kıbrıslıtürk sanatçı Sinan Güzen ve Arabent adlı grup ile de bugünlerde sahne alıyorum.

I am Nihat Ozyurekliler. I was born in a small island called Cyprus. I went to Levent Primary School for my primary school education. When I was 7, my parents asked me for a birthday present and I told them that I want a drumkit as a present. Then I started going to Yamaha Music School to take drum lessons. During this time both at my primary school and at my music school I was playing the drum. When I started to High School I decided that I want to play drum as a profession so I set up a drumkit to my room and I started to make covers of known songs and uploded them to my YouTube channel (a channel with my name). On a special event in Cyprus, I was on scene with Manga, which is one of the best bands in Turkey and also 2010 Eurovision Song Contest 2nd Place winners, and performed with them for one song. At the same time I decided to build up a little studio in my house to play the drum and make my covers more professional. During my summer holidays I went to festivals with different bands. This gave me an opportunity to meet with known Turkish Cypriot musicians. Currently, I am a member of a rock band called ArTem. I have a song with them. Also, I am performing with the band Arabent and with Turkish Cypriot artist Sinan Guzen currently.
