Tuukka aka 2ka is a freelance drummer and producer from Finland.

He started his musical journey by playing keyboards and signing but it didn’t take long before drums took over and he started to study them determinedly. He has played in various bands and toured around Finland and abroad.

Back in 2010 he won a Finnish Metal Expo drumming competition which awarded him DW/PDP sponsorship. Tuukka also has a solid background in music technology which enables him to work as a freelance producer as well. He tracks drums and works on productions in his studio. Sessions in other recording facilities keeps him on the move also.

When it comes to gear Tuukka relies solely on Turkish Cymbals. ”I’ve played Turkish Cymbals from 2007 and love them. They have the handmade character and tradition and high quality.”
